weekly memberships

*Weekly Membership Terms and Conditions ​ IMPORTANT SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIPS (a) To prevent over booking of classes and student no shows, if you need to cancel, you must do so with 10 hours notice, otherwise a $5 cancellation fee applies per class. (b) To ensure fairness, you must only book classes you are able to attend - late cancellations will attract a $5 penalty per late cancellation (unless in cases of illness or injury where acceptable supporting documentation is supplied). (c) Unused credits do not roll over and accumulate under this Unlimited membership. (d) It is your responsibility to ensure you book your classes early enough to avoid disappointment. Refunds will not be offered if you do not attend class. Spaces in class are subject to availability. ​ See below for general Membership T&C's that apply in addition to these Special Conditions. ​​ All Weekly Membership T&C's ​ 1. Starting Your Membership Your membership begins when you purchase it online, through the app, in the studio, or by phone/email. You can choose how many classes per week you'd like and will be billed weekly. 2. 10 Week Minimum Commitment There's a 10-week minimum commitment for your membership. During this period, you cannot cancel or freeze your membership. ​ If your membership is cancelled due to non-payment or for any other reason before the 10 week minimum commitment period, the full casual class rate becomes due and payable in full for any classes attended. No refunds will be offered for failure to attend classes.  3. Freezing or Canceling Your Membership After the 10-week minimum commitment, you have more flexibility: ​ You can freeze your membership for up to 4 weeks per year by giving us 14 days' written notice at info@poledanceacademy.com.au with "Freeze Membership" as the subject. If you freeze your membership, you cannot use your credits during the time your membership is frozen. When you unfreeze it, you can continue to use your credits. For example, if you plan to be away for 2 weeks starting on March 16, you must request the freeze by March 02 and specify when you want to reactivate it. You can cancel your membership anytime by providing 14 days' written notice to info@poledanceacademy.com.au with "Membership Cancellation" as the subject. When you cancel your membership, you will forfeit any accumulated credits, and you cannot continue to use them once your membership is cancelled. 4. Class Credit Roll Over  If you don't use a class credit for a particular week, it will automatically roll over, and your credits will accumulate and will be added to your account automatically. Practice time credits do not roll over week to week, and must be used in the week they are allocated. 5. Failed Payment If your membership payment fails, you have a 3-day grace period to make the payment. If you don't make the payment within three days, your membership will be canceled, and any accumulated credits will be forfeited. No refunds will be given for lost credits due to cancellation. 6. Credit Expiry Unused class credits are valid for 30 days from the date they were added to your account, as long as you maintain a current membership. If you cancel your membership, you forfeit accumulated credits. If you freeze your membership, you cannot use your credits during the time your membership is frozen. Practice time credits do not accumulate, and must be used in the week they are allocated. 7.  Class Cancellation To cancel a class booking and get your credit back, you must cancel out of the class in the booking system with at least 10 hours' notice, otherwise you will forfeit the class credit. 8. Membership payments ​ Membership payments are non-refundable. It is the student's responsibility to manage their schedule and class attendance.  9. Payment Failure and Membership Cancellations ​ If your membership payment fails, renewal will be re-attempted for the next two consecutive days. You will receive email notification that your payment has failed. If three consecutive renewal attempts fail, the booking system will automatically cancel your membership and you will lose any credits you have accumulated and any upcoming bookings.  If your membership is cancelled due to non-payment or for any other reason before the 10 week minimum commitment period, the full casual class rate becomes due and payable in full for any classes attended.  If you are experiencing payment difficulties, please contact us as soon as possible and let us know so that we can work out a solution. If your membership is cancelled due to non-payment, you will be liable pro rata for the classes you have attended at the full casual rate.  10. Upgrading or Downgrading Your Membership You can upgrade at any time by emailing us at info@poledanceacademy.com.au. Please note that for downgrades, we require 14 days written notice.

pda after hours

*PDA After Hours Membership Terms and Conditions ​ 1. Starting Your Membership Memberships can be bought online and in-person however an induction session is required before your first session. If you’ve purchased a PDA After Hours membership and you haven’t booked an induction with us yet, please send us an email at info@poledanceacademy.com.au. PDA After Hours members have access to the studio during designated After Hours times, as listed in the PDA After Hours section of your member account. Booking is required before each session via the PDA Appointments system – PDA After Hours section. Failure to book in before attending will result in membership revocation with no refund. Memberships are billed weekly. The studio is not for exclusive use — you may be sharing the space with other After Hours members who are booked in at the same time. Time blockouts may be subject to change if the studio is required for events, deep cleaning, or maintenance. Notice will be provided where possible but is not guaranteed. 2. Pricing $70 per week for non-active PDA members $35 per week for active PDA members $20 per week for students in Unlimited membership 3. Minimum Commitment There is a minimum commitment of 4 weeks. Your membership operates on a rolling weekly basis. 4. Freezing or Canceling Your Membership You may freeze your membership for up to 4 weeks per calendar year. To request a freeze, email info@poledanceacademy.com.au with the subject line “Freeze Membership” and provide at least 14 days’ notice. Example: If you’re away starting March 16, your request must be received by March 2. To cancel, email info@poledanceacademy.com.au with the subject line “Membership Cancellation” and give 14 days’ written notice. 5. Failed Payments If your payment fails, you have a 3-day grace period to complete the transaction. If payment is not received within 3 days, your membership will be automatically cancelled. 6. Induction & Studio Access You MUST complete a mandatory induction session before your first After Hours session. During this induction, you’ll receive your personal access code and review studio safety rules. Access is strictly limited to active After Hours members with a current booking. You may not share your access code with anyone. You are not permitted to bring friends, family, or non-members into the studio. Breaches of this policy will result in immediate cancellation of your membership and may lead to further consequences. 7. Studio Conduct & Security The studio is monitored by 24/7 CCTV surveillance for your safety and the safety of others. Panic buttons are installed and available for emergencies. Misuse will result in a fine. Additional fines will apply for the following: Leaving the air conditioning on Leaving doors open or unlocked Damaging studio property Police will be contacted if a crime is committed or if there is a serious breach of safety or conduct. 8. Respectful Use of the Studio PDA After Hours is an unsupervised space — members are expected to behave responsibly. Always clean up after yourself, and respect the space, equipment, and fellow members. Do not allow anyone else into the studio or share your access. No alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances are permitted on the premises. You may not access, dance, or use the studio under the influence of drugs or alcohol at any time. Inappropriate behavior, vandalism, or unsafe conduct may result in suspension or permanent cancellation of your membership. 9. Refund Policy All weekly membership payments are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to manage your access, bookings, schedule, and studio attendance.

cancellations

If you need to cancel a class, you can do so through our online booking system, provided you give 10 hours or more notice before your class. If you have cancelled with 10 hours or more notice, your credit will automatically get put back into your account. Any credits returned to you after a cancellation must be used within 3 months.  If you give less than 10 hours notice and need to cancel your class, you will not be given your credit back. If you needed to cancel due to sickness or injury, please email us with a medical certificate and we can assess.

refunds policy

Pole Dance Academy does not offer refunds or transfers for unused/expired credits. Please understand that it is your responsibility to book and attend your classes before they expire. We have a strict policy and do not offer refunds or expiry extensions for unused or expired credits once purchased. We specifically save a space for you in the class you booked in for and it is your responsibility to attend your classes.

sickness / injury

If you are sick or injured and wish to request to cancel classes and/or extend the expiry of your Credits, we require a medical certificate or other documentation. We will consider and review your situation, and we may extend your credits if we consider it appropriate in the circumstances. Please note that you will still need to have an active Membership to use in order to keep your extra credits
